Halle Berry has filed for divorce from Olivier Martinez citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has an ironclad prenup in place.
Berry and Martinez have been married for 2 years which in Hollywood years is more like 5 years. The actress began dating the French actor in 2010 after they met while filming Dark Tide in South Africa. They confirmed their engagement in March 2012, and married in France on July 13, 2013

“They have a personality difference,” said a source close to the couple. And the incident at LAX, where Olivier hit a guy with a car seat, exacerbated their conflicts. Olivier got sued for the incident last week and our sources say the couple argued about the suit, and it became a breaking point. Another source said, “They’re just very, very different people. He’s a very macho guy, and things just didn’t jive.:” The couple issued a joint statement … “It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son.
