Leah Remini Takes On Tom Cruise In New Scientology Rant

Leah Remini sat down with “20/20” to talk about her departure from Scientology in an episode airing Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. ET. During the interview, the actress invokes the name of Tom Cruise, Scientology’s most high-profile devotee.

During the brief ABC show teaser video posted to Youtube, Remini says “Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself. You are evil.”

She also says it’s “giving up everything you’ve worked for your whole life” — if you decide to leave Scientology. Remini’s been very vocal about her issues with the church since leaving in 2013. She’s said she left because she didn’t want to raise her daughter as a Scientologist. h/t tmz

ABC promises a bombshell interview with the actress and former Scientologist.
