Superman’s original Jimmy Olsen, Jack Larson, passed away Sunday at his Brentwood, CA., home. He was 87.
Larsen was the first actor to play opposite George Reeves’ Clark Kent on the popular “The Adventures of Superman’s.”
Larson starred alongside Reeves from 1952-1958. He acted sparingly after the series ended. He did make an appearance on a 1996 episode of “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” … and also in 1991 on the series “Superboy.” h/t tmz
After leaving the show, Larson tried his hand at music and finally went behind the camera, becoming a playwright and producer.
