Snapchat is now offering its first in-app purchases, charging $0.99 for extra replays. The update also rolled out a new feature that lets you layer special effects on top of your selfies.
Replay, a free feature that was first unveiled in 2013, limited users to replaying one Snap per day. Now, you can buy 3 additional replays. Still, each individual Snapchat can only be replayed once, so choose your replays with care!
“We’ve provided one Replay per Snapchatter per day, sometimes frustrating the millions of Snapchatters who receive many daily Snaps deserving of a Replay,” read a post on the company’s blog. “But then we realized — a Replay is like a compliment! So why stop at just one?” h/t mashable
“Lenses,” is a feature that lets you to add special effects to the selfies you take within the app.
