A Los Angeles County firefighter was stabbed by an unidentified person while tending to a patient inside a hospital emergency room.
The incident occurred at White Memorial Medical Center in Boyle Heights Tuesday night.
Authorities say a separate patient pulled out a knife and stabbed the firefighter, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, around 9: 30 p.m. The male suspect was arrested and booked into jail for attempted murder of a firefighter. h/t
