If you’re holding your breath hoping Game Of Thrones favorite Jon Snow will be coming back to life anytime you, you can now exhale, because a top HBO exec, Michael Lombardino, says “dead is dead is dead.” Ouch, so much for putting it gently.
Lombardino, speaking to the Television Critics Association, dispelled any chance Snow will be returning anytime soon..
“Dead is dead is dead. He be dead. Yes. Everything I’ve seen, heard and read, he is dead,” said Lombardino of the character’s bloody fate. h/t mtv
Even with HBO’s fatalistic views on Snow’s chances at an epic return, some are still holding out hope, against all hope. Let’s all hope they end up being right!
Lombardino had more bad news for Throne lovers, the show will likely end after eight seasons. They are now shooting season 6.
“Obviously we’re shooting season six now, hopefully discussing seven,” he explained. “I think their feeling is we’re looking at two more seasons after six. I’m hoping they’ll change their minds, but that’s what we’re looking at right now.”
