Following massive and relentless public outcry, Ariana Grande has released an apology video. And we thought she was so ill she was forced to cancel her MLB All-Star appearance over getting her wisdom teeth getting pulled? And where’s the apology to the donut shop?

In the video, which serves as a follow up to her previously released apology, Grande apologizes after getting caught on camera saying “I hate America,” as well as to licking donuts on a donut shop counter that remained for sale.

“I wanted to make a video to apologize again for the whole donut fiasco,” she explained in the black-and-white video, which found the singer looking straight on at what is presumably a computer camera. “I feel like the apology I posted, I kind of missed the opportunity to sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry which is like, not relative.”

“I was trying to get you to understand where I was coming from when I said what I said,” she continued, “but that’s not important. I’d rather just apologize and I feel like now’s my chance before the whole thing blows over to say my sorry.”

Focusing primarily on her America comments, Grande explained that she’s actually never been prouder to be an American, especially considering all the recent progressive strides this country has made.

“Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly that you had no idea was taken is such a rude awakening. It’s like you don’t know what to do; I was so disgusted with myself, I wanted to shove my face in a pillow and just disappear. But instead of that I’m going to come forward and own up to what I did and take responsibility and say I’m sorry….Seeing how ugly it looks when you behave a certain way makes you want to never behave that way again. You learn from it….I never want to be anything less than a positive influence.”

“I’m 22, I’m human, I still got a lot to learn, I make mistakes and that’s how I’m gonna learn. I’m going to learn from my mistakes,” she concluded the four-minute video. “It’s all a process and I want to be a good as I possibly can be for my babes….I’m very sorry and I love you.” h/t billboard

That’s something she doesn’t have to make public. That apology only needs to be between them and her. We don’t need to know about it.

She should be disgusted with herself, everyone else is!

Benja López
Oh my god, she looks so ugly in this…
