Washington DC news reporter, Charnice Milton, was shot and killed Wednesday night in the District.
Milton, 27, was found in the street suffering from a gunshot wound at around 9:40 p.m. She was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
Milton worked for Capital Community News since 2012. The Southeast resident covered community issues. She was described as a talented reporter with an “engaging manner that endeared her to her sources.” h/t myfoxdc
Capital Community News said the shooting was apparently a random act.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Milton‘s family and friends at this difficult time.
