Coroner: Andrew Getty Died From Massive Blood Loss

J. Paul Getty’s grandson Andrew Getty died from massive bleeding from his intestines, says a preliminary conclusion from the L.A. County Coroner.

Getty, 47, was found dead in the bathroom of his L.A. home Tuesday. Police say there was blood loss surrounding his rectal area.

Law enforcement sources say, Getty lost a full liter of blood, and so far it looks like an ulcer. Getty had been complaining of serious stomach pain for several days before his death and made an appointment to see a doctor, which was scheduled for the day after her died. He had been suffering from severe stomach cramps. h/t tmz

The Coroner will not make a final determination until toxicology results are in.
