At the time of Bobbi Kristina‘s tragic drowning last weekend, she had a warrant out for her arrest.
Three days before Brown was found unconscious at home in her bathtub, the court had issued a warrant for her arrest over failing to appear at a traffic violation hearing.
Signed by Alpharetta Municipal Court Judge Lee Whiteside, the warrant states that for failure to appear on Jan. 14, any bond paid had been forfeited and she would also be responsible for any further costs to the court. The issue stemmed from Bobbi being pulled over Sept. 9, 2014, for allegedly driving without a valid tag on her Lexus IS250. The maximum penalty she could have faced was having her vehicle impounded and being ordered to pay a fine of up to $2,500, according to the Daily Mail, which first reported the legal issue. h/t e!
The warrant has since been dismissed, based on Brown’s current medical condition.
