Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan is testing a doctor, Craig Spencer, who was working in Africa with Doctors Without Borders for possible Ebola infection.

“Today, EMS HAZ TAC Units transported a patient to Bellevue Hospital who presented a fever and gastrointestinal symptoms,” Health Commissioner Mary Bassett said in a statement. She added that health officials are “also evaluating the patient for other causes of illness, as these symptoms can also be consistent with salmonella, malaria or the stomach flu.” h/t myfoxny
The doctor returned from Guinea 10 days ago after treating Ebola patients. Spencer, 33, Lives in Harlem. Reports say he went bowling last night in Williamsburg and took an Uber car to get there and back.
