Authorities confirmed that a Ferguson police officer was shot in north St. Louis County.
St. Louis County Police say that the officer was shot in the arm.

A police set up a staging area in the area of Ferguson West of Florissant and Stein. Multiple departments responded to the scene. Protesters have now shown up, one working the business end of a bullhorn.
The gunman is still on the loose. The condition of the officer has not yet released.
