A large manhunt is underway in Kansas City, KS, for Pablo Antonio Serrano-Vitorino, who is suspected of killing five people in two states.
The fifth victim was located hundreds of miles away from the original crime scene, authorities say.

In anticipation of the Ferguson grand jury decision, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon signed an executive order activating the Missouri National Guard on Monday afternoon.
Calling it a “contingency plan,” Gov. Nixon said the order establishes that the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Louis County Police Department and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department will operate as a unified command.
“As part of our ongoing efforts to plan and be prepared for any contingency, it is necessary to have these resources in place in advance of any announcement of the grand jury’s decision,” Gov. Nixon said. Continue reading
Authorities confirmed that a Ferguson police officer was shot in north St. Louis County.
St. Louis County Police say that the officer was shot in the arm.
A police set up a staging area in the area of Ferguson West of Florissant and Stein. Multiple departments responded to the scene. Protesters have now shown up, one working the business end of a bullhorn. Continue reading
