The grieving family of Charles Vacca, the shooting instructor who was killed after an unidentified 9-year old Arizona girl he was teaching accidentally shot him, is reaching out to the youngster via video.
Vacca’s wife and four kids are shown in the video reading a letter to the 9-year-old.
“Our dad would want you to know that you should move forward with your life,” said one of Vacca’s daughters in the video. “You should not let this define you. Someday we hope we can meet you, hug you, and tell you that it is okay,” said the youngest boy.
Vacca was an instructor at a shooting range on the Nevada border.
