Colts release statement On Jim Irsay Arrest

INDIANAPOLIS Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested and charged with four felony counts after being arrested late Sunday night on possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated. Turns out Irsay had several brands of prescriptions pills in his car, none matching his own prescribed meds. Irsay had recently said on Twitter that he had not touched drugs or alcohol in 15 years..

It was earlier in the year Irsay was pictured partying with then drug-fueled actor, Zac Efron..

The Colts released a statement late Monday morning.

“We are gathering information at this time regarding last night’s incident involving Jim Irsay,” the team’s statement said. “The team will issue additional statements when the facts are sorted and we are aware of the next steps to this process.

“Many fans have reached out to express their concern and we appreciate their support.”
