Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who assaulted a 19-year-old girl who was walking near her Long Beach apartment complex Monday.
According to L.B.P.D., the victim was walking home, when two men assaulted her, knocking her unconscious. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of significant facial injuries.
The unprovoked attack occurred in the 2000 block of Beverly Plaza around 11:30 p.m.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic or African-American man, between 20 and 22 years old, standing around 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He had a light complexion and was wearing a dark-colored hat and dark clothing.
The second suspect was described as a stocky African-American man, between 20 and 22 years old, standing around 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing approximately 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.
