Courtesy WetPaint.com If Channing Tatum were to star in Magic Mike 2, he might have to drop a few pounds of downtime-weight! The 33-year-old actor has been taking a few months off from acting and has enjoyed the chance to take it easy with his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and their new daughter, Everly.
“[Jenna and I] like to say I am very ‘fappy,'” he tells Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show. “I’m very fat and happy right now … I’ve been working for two straight years, and now it’s some really needed down time.”
Part of that down time includes time adoring Everly. “She’s eight months old now and saying ‘da, da, da, da,'” he reveals. “I don’t think she knows what it means just yet, but it doesn’t matter.”

And apparently, she has a sophisticated taste for lullabies.
“You know how you get that first [feeling] of not feeling cool enough for your kid? … You think you’re the coolest thing in the world so far … But she actually has better taste in music than I think I do. Because she will only fall asleep to really good music.”
Apparently, Everly’s favorite tracks include Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and Prince’s “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World. (“She might be conceited, I’m not sure,” Channing quips in reference to the latter song.)
Heck, if we had Channing’s and Jenna’s genes — even the fappy-prone gene — we’d be pretty haughty, too!
