James Gandolfini’s body has officially landed in New Jersey on a chartered jet, TMZ is reporting.
The actor’s body was flown in via Signature Airlines from Rome — where James passed away earlier this week. The plane touched down at Newark airport around 9 pm EST.

We’re told the “The Sopranos” star’s body will be sent to a funeral home where it will remain until the funeral services — which are set for this Thursday.
James was born and raised in New Jersey. He died of a heart attack on Wednesday at the age of 51.
