Unconfirmed.. An internet report says, Annette Funicello is to be buried in Calvary Cemetary.. Funeral will be Fri, April, 12th @ 9am. Reports also say the mayor will conduct some kind of honoring ceremony at City Hall. Again, Annette’s final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery as far as we know.. I was one of many who thought Annett was our first girlfriend. She will be missed and was not like many of the starts we have today. I hope she was greeted by Walt Disney and others as she left this earth. Rest in peace. Dennis
I checked the Forest Lawn website & there was no Annette Funicello or Annette Holt listed. I'm guessing she was cremated.
The people at Find a Grave.com are currently searching for further information on where she's buried.
She hasn't lived in Utica since she was 4 and her parents are buried at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. I doubt her final resting place is in New York.
Everyone loved Annette. America's girl next door! Annette was one of a kind a very sweet, loving, caring, and gental person. I have her bears and will always cherish them! Who's the girl we can't forget Annette Annette Annette. R.I.P Annette. We love you.
I followed Annette on tv from her Mouseketeer days to watching her beach party movies, many time, up to her last movie, Back to the Beach, with Frankie Avalon. I loved her so much that my parents named my little sister after her, Annette. I didn't know at that time, what Annette's middle name was. so my parents just gave her that name only, with no middle name. But its so weird, in that, after finding out Annette's middle name was Joanne. That my mothers middle name was Jo, and my other sister's middle name was Jo. Also, after reading that Annette wanted to change her last name to Turner, That was my fathers middle name. But of course, Walt Disney wanted her to keep her last name, Funicello. So that's what she did. I never met Annette in person, but I had such a strong love for her as a young man, and a love for her as a fan. I also want to give a warm, sincere Thank You to her husband, Glenn Holt, for his undying love and care he gave to Annette. I know Annette's Fan's, friends, and family all appreciate al the love and attention he gave to Annette up to her final days! Thank you Glenn! We will miss you Annette! And we will never forget you!
