The fishy drama played out in an outdoor seafood market in Guangdong province to the south of China. A fishmonger unknowingly gutted the three-foot cephalopod for a customer when his knife returned a klunk, which ended upi being the sound of his blade struck something hard and metallic.
He widened the gap and found the eight-inch explosive that experts later revealed was live and could have gone off at any moment.
The explosive was removed safely and detonated with out further incident.
