Taylor Swift has been the butt of a lot of jokes recently, but it turns out that she’s the one laughing — all the way to the bank, that is. According to Parade magazine’s annual What People Earn issue, the 23-year-old “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer made an estimated $57 million in 2012 — more than Brad Pitt and Anne Hathaway combined! Swift’s jaw-dropping salary makes her the third highest-paid woman in entertainment, behind only Oprah Winfrey and Britney Spears. Hathaway, by comparison — who starred in two of the biggest films of the year, The Dark Knight Rises and Les Miserables, for which she won an Oscar — earned $10 million in 2012. usmagazine
