The offensive images of memorabilia you are about to see, were taken at the “Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia” at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI.

These unbelievable images are shocking to most, and even more shocking when seen in person at the actual museum. The collection in this racist museum, is full of ‘art’ pieces depicting African American people, who were once mistreated in various ways.

The museum’s collection has the the name “Jim Crow” in it, which was a name created for segregation laws (legally or socially enforced separation of African Americans from other races) with the African American people. According to Wikipedia, there was “segregation of public schools, public places, and public transportation, and the segregation of restrooms, restaurants, and drinking fountains for whites and blacks.”

Many of the older pieces in the museum reflect the past segregation laws, like the “Colored Seated in Rear” sign. Some of the racist pieces in the museum are about a century old, and some others were made as recently as this year!

A few racist President Barack Obama pieces are in the museum- One T-shirt on display says, “Any White Guy 2012″, and there is another shirt that says ‘Obama ’08′ and shows a cartoon monkey holding a banana. They also have a racist Obama mouse pad that shows Ku Klux Klan members in their white garb, chasing an Obama caricature- the shirt says “Run Obama Run”.

The museum is said to have over 9,000 pieces in the collection, but there isn’t enough room in the museum to hold them all. More pieces are on display in the University’s library.
