BALDWIN PARK, California. The son of ‘CHiPs’ actor and motorcycle hero Bruce Penhall was killed last night as he worked construction on a closed portion of the 10 Freeway.
Connor Penhall, 21, was hit by 37-year-old Takamoto Matsuhiko who was later arrested on suspicion of felony DUI.
“When officers arrived on-scene, they noticed a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath,” said CHP Officer Kerri Rivas. “They also noticed his eyes were watering and his speech was slurred.”
Connor’s family arrived to the scene of their son’s death to say goodbye.
