R Patz Says ‘Being Mortal May Hinder Another Vampire Role’

So Robert Pattinson says that he “may be too old to play Edward Cullen”, if Twilight writer Stephanie Meyer decides to add another novel to the collection.

Well, we hope she leaves it alone, so there aren’t knock-off Robs and Kristens! It would never be the same for the Twi-hards!

Pattinson expressed his thoughts to media about being an old mortal, at a press junket for his new film Bel Ami, saying, “I’d be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I’d probably be too old, I’m already too old. But yeah, it’d be kind of interesting.”

We can’t wait to see Bel Ami, where Rob plays a poor man-whore, who screws his way to the top to get successful! The film also stars Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci… coming to a theater near you!
