Adele, the talented ‘Amy Winehouse replacement’, gets made fun of by many critics, for being obese. One critic in particular, Karl Lagerfeld, designer for Chanel, called Adele “a little too fat”, then retracted his statement after Adele caught wind of the harsh comment.

Adele, who is a great singer, had the torch passed to her in the record business, just after Amy Winehouse died. The two had a similar throwback style, and just after Winehouse died mysteriously, then suddenly, Adele shows up hot on the scene, and her damn song played on every radio station last summer- the entire summer!
In a recent interview, given just after her dramatic weight loss from her throat surgery, she was asked what she thought about Lagerfeld’s harsh ‘fat’ comment. She told People mag, “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women, and I’m very proud of that.”
So does Adele’s weight represent the majority of women?
