Spider Webs Cause Recall of 50K Mazda6

File this under creepy. Mazda recalled over 50,000 Mazda6 over a fear that spiders may have wove a web inside a vent line. The line if clogged could lead to a catastrophic gas tank failure.

The eight legged culprit, Yellow Sac spider lives mostly in the U.S. and for reasons unknown has basically infested only the Mazda6 vehicles.

Dealers will now have the task of checking all of the recalled cars for spider webs and remove any if found also a hinge is being installed to keep out future unwanted residents.
