FLORIDA — The folks at the Biscayne Bay’s Quayside condominiums received a strange addition to their bay view, a 700 pound, $4,000 grand piano.

The musical mystery has the community a buzz with not only “who done it?” but also “how’d they do that?” The very heavy and oddly shaped musical instrument is very difficult to move under normal circumstances and whoever did this had to basically carry the beast, without the assist of wheels, at least two football fields in length, in the sand, to perch it at its final resting place, the crest of the sandbar.

Another theory would be the grand arrived by sea, however, that would have been a big boat equipped with a crane no less, file that under “slim and none.”

Some may find the sea worthy piano and eyesore, however, it’s music to the local seagull’s ears, as they now have a pricey place to hang out and chill, think of it as a piano bar that’s gone to the birds.

Authorities have no plans to haul the piano away saying that it does not pose a risk to wildlife or humans.
