obamabill Voted Obama? Embarrassed Yet? Billboards Springing up

OZARK, CO., Mo. – The guy who paid his own money to erect this billboard asking the question, “Voted Obama? Embarrassed Yet?” though it may spark debate, however, what he didn’t see coming was national exposure, death threats and charges of racism.

Steve Critchfield the dude responsible for the billboard that runs along a stretch of U.S. 65 south of Ozark. said in a interview, “I’ve certainly voted for people I’m embarrassed to say I’ve voted for, we’re not naïve enough to think that we wouldn’t get someone to be upset. I’m just surprised how upset people are.”

Freedom of speech is one thing that America is very proud to possess and Critchfield thinks that if people are so damn upset about his billboard venting his frustration with the President, they are free to buy their own billboard, “If everybody thinks [President Obama’s] done a great job and they’re very happy,” he said, “then I guess they’d be buying billboards saying ‘I’m proud to have voted for him.’ That’s what makes America great, isn’t it?” Critchfield said.
