ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Isabel Borges has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash involving a DUI driver in Port St. Lucie Sunday.

Borges, 58, was traveling on a Harley Davidson motorcycle on NW Selvitz Rd Port in St. Lucie just before 8.a.m., when she was struck by a Honda Civic, driven by 22-year-old Christian Zachery White of Fort Pierce.

White reportedly attempted to pass a minivan in a non-passing zone and collided head-on into Borges’ Harley.

According to officials, White appeared “extremely” impaired. His passenger, whose name has not been released, was unconscious and unresponsive. They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Borges was thrown from the bike during the collision and pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries.

A crash reported noted that the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

White was charged with vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, and possession of MDMA, reports WPTV.
