SAN ANTONIO, TX. (THECOUNT) — Felipe Nava has been identified as the victim killed after being ejected from his SUV Sunday morning in a crash that involved 10 other vehicles.

“Rekk” Nava, 29, was ejected from his vehicle in a fatal crash that caused 10 other vehicles to wreck on the highway 1604.

According to officials, Nava was operating an SUV in the Westbound lanes on the access road of North Loop 1604 and La Cantera Parkway Sunday morning around 2:15 a.m. when he collided with another vehicle for known reasons.

His SUV rolled over onto the main lanes of 1604, causing 10 other vehicles to crash, reports News4SanAntonio.

Nava was ejected from his vehicle and later pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries.

An unidentified female passenger in the SUV with Nava was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. He current condition was not provided.

Authorities said everyone else involved in the accident was treated by emergency crews at the scene and released.
