BIBB COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Jalen Strong has been identified as the he Macon, GA, pedestrian killed early Friday morning after a vehicle struck him as he attempted to push a disabled vehicle on Forsyth Road.

Three men were pushing a disabled vehicle near Wesleyan College, on Forsyth Road, in Macon, Bibb County, GA, when the vehicle was struck from behind by a Acura TL, driven by 42-year-old Heather Harris.

Reports say, Strong was pushing the vehicle from behind as 22-year-old Tupach Brown, and 48-year-old Clint Brian Nettles, push from the doorwells.

Harris struck the disabled vehicle from behind, sandwiching Strong.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.

Bibb deputies are investigating.

Nettles was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

No one else was hurt in the fatal incident.

Deputies say just before 12:30 a.m., a 23-year-old man who has not yet been identified, 22-year-old Tupach Brown, and 48-year-old Clint Brian Nettles were helping push a Chevy Classic down Forsyth Road in front of Wesleyan College. No one was cited in the case and no charges have been filed as of now.
