WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) — 28-year-old Southeast man, Henry Isaacs, was fatally shot Saturday night in Southeast Washington around 9:20 Saturday night and 27-year-old Northeast man, Wilbert Brooks, was shot and killed after midnight Sunday morning in Northeast Washington, reports abc7.

The killings mark the city’s 120th and 121st murder so far this year.

D.C. police said officers responding to the 1600 block of U Street, SE around 9:20 p.m. found Isaacs suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

D.C. police said Wilbert Brooks, of Northeast, was discovered fatally shot around 12:13 a.m. in the 1500 block of Benning Road, NE. When officers arrived after a report of gunshots, they found Brooks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and pronounced him dead.

Police said they are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction in either case.
