BETHANY, OR. (THECOUNT) — A teenager who was shot at a Rock Creek house party and later passed away at the hospital, has been identified as 18-year-old Fermin Alonso-Alonso, according to Washington County deputies.

(ORIGINAL STORY) — An 18-year-old was shot and killed in an apparent altercation during a massive house party early Sunday in the Rock Creek area of Washington County, sheriff’s deputies said.

The sheriff’s office responded shortly before 1 a.m. to the reports of gunfire at a Bethany home on Northwest Connett Meadow Court.

Deputies arrived and provided first aid to the man, suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.

Investigators learned a suspect had fled the scene moments after the shooting. Several deputies searched the area but were unable to find him. source

The death was under investigation and there was no suspect information available for release, as investigators continue to interview witnesses.
