ST. ALBANS, WV. (THECOUNT) — Glenn Allen Casdor, of St. Albans, has been identified as the suspect accused of bloodying his mother, Robin Casdorph, by repeatedly beating her in the head with a spatula following a night of paint huffing.

Casdorph, 30, was charged Friday with malicious wounding after an incident on McKinley Avenue, in St. Albans, WV, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

The police report said the St. Albans Police Department arrived on-scene to find Cadorph, who has had numerous work-related encounters with police who are aware of his frequently huffing habit.

The officer detained Casdorph and went inside to check on the condition of his mother, Robin Casdorph.

Robin Casdorph’s head was wrapped with gauze, and there was a large amount of blood on her shirt and the back of her neck.

Police responded 10:45 p.m. Thursday to investigate a reported domestic incident with injuries. When an officer arrived at the scene, Casdorph was sitting on a bench in the front yard. He had a large amount of silver spray paint on his face and hands and had a large steel bar in his hands, police said.source

Police said Robin Casdorph was not transported by the Kanawha County Ambulance Authority at the time of the incident.

Glenn Casdorph was taken to the St. Albans Police Department and was then transported to South Central Regional Jail, where he is currently being held on a $10,000 or 10 percent cash bond.
