HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (THECOUNT) — An adult was reportedly attacked and killed by an alligator Monday morning in the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

BCSO Capt. Bob Bromage said the person died from their injuries.
