SANDY SPRINGS, GA. (THECOUNT) — Marietta man, John Carpenter, has been named as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash along GA-400 in Fulton County late Friday night.
Carpenter, 19, was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by 19 year-old Seth Wheeler when the crash occurred.

Wheeler lost control and veered off the roadway near the intersection with I-285. source
Wheeler was taken to an area hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
The Sandy Springs Police Department has not filed any charged in the case.
