30s-something Laura was assigned by CNN producers to cover the Justice Department out of the Washington D.C. bureau. Valerie Jarrett, considered Obama’s “closest adviser” and known by Obama staffers as Night Stalker over her creepy late night strolls through White House halls, is said to have been the catalyst for her daughter’s new found good fortune at CNN considering the fact the girl was hired with no previous experience in journalism.
