SC Man Jon Hildreth ID’d As Victim In Wednesday Night Greenville Fatal Motorcycle Crash

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Jonathan Tyler Hildreth, of Greenville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday night motorcycle crash in Greenville County.

Hildreth, 24, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash near Greenville Wednesday night.

According to reports, Hildreth was operating a motorcycle near 2204 North Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville, when the bike wrecked around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

Hildreth was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries on way to the hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

SC Wade Hampton HS Senior Josh Burgess ID’d As Victim Killed After Struck By Stolen Vehicle

TAYLORS, SC. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Daniel Burgess, of Greenville, has been identified as the Wade Hampton High School senior killed in a crash involving the driver of a stolen vehicle.

Burgess, 17, was driving a Toyota Corolla when he was struck by a Honda Accord that had been reported stolen earlier Wednesday evening, the coroner said.

Police said two others from the Corolla were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.

The driver of the Honda Accord was also hospitalized with serious injuries.

Burgess was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.

“The Greer Police Department’s Traffic Team and the detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division are continuing their investigation into this incident and upon the conclusion of the investigation appropriate charges will be made,” Fortenberry said in a news release Thursday. Continue reading
