A team of burglary suspects gained entry to a plush Beverly Hills mansion after a scantily dress woman was able to distract the security guard.
The crooks got into the Los Angeles mansion, which is nestled in the Beverly Crest area of the Santa Monica Mountains above Beverly Hills, by using a provocatively dressed woman to distract a the front gate guard.
Police Department spokeswoman Norma Eisenman tells City News Service four men overpowered the guard around 1:00 a.m. Monday as he was distracted by a woman in short shorts and a furry jacket. The crew tied up the guard, took his gun and burglarized the home in the Beverly Crest area of the Santa Monica Mountains above Beverly Hills. Continue reading
Andrew Day has been named as the Hampton Inn employee killed in a shooting at Dayton/Fairborn hotel located at 2550 Paramount Place, Fairborn, OH.
A 911 call informed police of the fatal shooting of Day, 29, at the Hampton Inn hotel. He was later located dead behind the front counter.
“I think I heard gunshots,” the caller told police. “We just walked in the door…somebody shot the guy behind the counter.” The caller told dispatchers he was applying pressure to the victim’s wound while emergency crews responded to the scene. Continue reading
Pastor Anthony Morris, his wife and daughter of the St. Paul AME church have all been arrested.
Reports say that the family robbed a Sunday school teacher at their church. They all have been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
The Sunday school teacher, 39-year-old, Nickema Turner was in her class teaching when suddenly her hair was being pulled. Zelda Morris, the pastors wife punched her in the face and threw her down to the floor. She then grabbed Turner’s purse and took items from it. Continue reading
George Maldonado, the owner of the Full Throttle Auto Service, has tragically been killed in an early morning robbery. He was 61.
Maldonado, also known as, George Maldonado-Rodriguez, was pronounced dead at the scene which is located off N. Chelton Road.
Another unidentified man was transported to the hospital with traumatic injuries. He is in critical but stable condition, police say. Continue reading
Cops released a few screengrabs of two armed men who robbed the Dan’s Hamburgers on North Lamar Boulevard in Austin Monday night.
Austin police released the poor quality surveillance photos in hopes someone would recognise one or both of the suspects.
One suspect is described as a black male, 6-feet-tall, thin build, possibly left-handed and last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and dark sweatpants. Bay Area cops have arrested five teenage girls, ranging from 14-16, as suspects in at least 20 strong-arm robberies targeting women. The girls’ identities are being withheld because of their age.
Oakland officials said Wednesday that the teen girls are suspected of seeking out, assaulting and robbing women who were “walking alone.”
The victims ranged in age from 29 to 68. One woman was punched in the face and some fell to the pavement while struggling to hold on to their property. None required hospitalization. Kim Kardashian is suing urban gossip website, MediaTakeOut over claims they published the reality star is lying about being robbed in Paris.
Among other claims, MTO wrote that “French authorities” suspected Kim of actually “letting the robbers in” the apartment. “If she faked the robbery … she just committed a FEDERAL CRIME,” MTO charged.
Kim just filed a federal lawsuit against MediaTakeOut.com for 3 posts about her ordeal … one of which alleged there was evidence Kim “staged” the robbery. In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Kim says the site used random people off social media as its sources. Continue reading
Ralph Lauren has followed Speedo in dropping Ryan Lochte from their list of sponsors. The cutting move comes on the heels of the swimmer’s fabricated story about being robbed in Rio.
Today, the popular clothing brand announced that they will not be renewing Lochte’s sponsorship contract. Lochte will reportedly lose millions over the sponsor exodus.

Police in Rio de Janeiro stormed the Olympic Village in Brazil on Wednesday to seize the passports of U.S. swimmers Ryan Lochte and James Feigen as they attempted to collect further testimony from them about a reported robbery, a U.S. Olympic Committee spokesman said.
The swimmers were involved in an investigation into an alleged robbery that reportedly happened in the early hours of Sunday.
A Brazilian judge has issued a search and seizure warrant for two of the four U.S. swimmers reportedly robbed in Rio de Janeiro early Sunday. “The swim team moved out of the village after their competition ended, so we were not able to make the athletes available,” Patrick Sandusky, USOC chief external affairs officer, said in a statement.
