SC Woman Gretchen Francey 4-Year-Old ID’d As Victims In Tuesday North Charleston Murder-Suicide

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Gretchen Francey, of North Charleston, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim along with a child in a Tuesday morning murder-suicide.

Francey, 40, and 4-year-old Liam Francey, were found shot dead in an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday morning in Charleston County.

According to officials, police responded to 2664 Leeds Ave in North Charleston after receiving a report about an unresponsive woman and a child inside the residence.

First responders gained access to the dwelling and discovered Francey and the boy suffering from gunshot injuries. A weapon was found nearby.

Both victims were pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Police determined that Francey shot the boy before turning the gun on herself.

The Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone with information call 843-202-1700.

SC Men Nathaniel Delesline Tariq Matthews ID’d As Sunday Night Victims In North Charleston Double-Fatal Shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC. (THECOUNT) — Tariq Matthews of Moncks Corner, SC, and Nathaniel Delesline of North Charleston, have been identified as the victims in a double-deadly shooting in North Charleston Sunday night.

“Lil Nate Da Dawg” Delesline, 20, and 21-year-old Matthews, were both found suffering from gunshot wounds Sunday night, according to officials.

The shooting occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 2400 block of Prospect Dr., reports ABCNews4.

North Charleston Police are investigating.

Charleston Cop FIRED After Posing In Confederate Flag Boxer Shorts

North Charleston police officer, Sgt. Shannon Dildine, was issued a pink slip after posting to Facebook a picture of himself donning Confederate flag boxer shorts.

Police Chief Eddie Driggers sent Dildine a termination letter, saying the photo undermines the officer’s “ability to improve trust and instill confidence when working with our citizens.”

Dylann Roof Arrest Video Surfaces

Dylann Roof, the young man who shot and killed nine people in a Charleston church, was captured on two dash cams the moment police pull him over.

In the footage, officers can be seen approaching Roof’s car after catching up to him in Shelby, North Carolina on June 18.

Roof is frisked by the police officer once he gets out of the car, then is put in handcuffs while facing his vehicle. An officer then walks the 21-year-old over to one of the at least three police vehicles on the scene.  Continue reading

George Zimmerman SHOT In Florida

George Zimmerman was shot and suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon, according to Lake Mary, Florida, Police.

Zimmerman was injured after being involved in an altercation with two men on Lake Mary Boulevard about 12:45 p.m., police said.

Officers at the scene said it appeared Zimmerman suffered a minor gunshot wound, Bracknell said. “He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” said witness Ricardo Berrare. Aerial video showed a bullet hole in the passenger window the vehicle Zimmerman was in.  Continue reading

Celebrities Chime In On Cop Who Shot Unarmed Black Man 8 Times In Back

Michael T. Slager, a 33 year old police officer, has been charged with murder after a video surfaced Tuesday of the officer shooting 50-year-old Walter L. Scott in the back.

Scott, an unarmed black man, tried to run away after a traffic stop. The FBI opened a civil rights investigation Tuesday after video surfaced of Slager shooting Scott 8 times as he attempted to flee on foot.
