Shooting Reported At Bunn-O-Matic Facility In Springfield IL Friday Morning

SANGAMON COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — A Friday morning shooting has been reported at the Bunn-O-Matic Corporation building in Sangamon County, Illinois.

According to reports, a heavy police presence was spotted arriving to the coffee machine maker facility on Friday in Springfield.

The Bunn-O-Matic plant is located at 1400 Adlai Stevenson Dr. in Springfield.

A command post was observed being set up by the Springfield Police Department.

People are asked to avoid the area and take alternative routes.

WI Coroner IDs Woman Found Dead Near Milwaukee Art Museum “Hit-And-Run?”

Lane Elizabeth Kerpan, of Gurnee, Illinois, has been identified as the woman whose body was found near the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Police now say, Kerpan, 25, was likely hit by a car in a possible hit-and-run, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.

A passing driver spotted  Kerpan along Lincoln Memorial Drive around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. At the time, investigators did not know exactly how she died. On Thursday morning, authorities revealed findings of Kerpan’s autopsy. The medical examiner said the autopsy revealed significant internal injuries consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle. Thriller Producer Quincy Jones Rushed To Hospital Over Severe Chest Pains

Music producer Quincy Jones, who worked on some of the most popular Michael Jackson tracks of all time, including, “Thriller,” “Bad” and “Off The Wall,” was rushed to the hospital.

Authorities say, Jones, 82, was at home when he experienced severe chest pains.. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

Quincy’s rep downplayed the incident, telling TMZ, “Quincy had some shortness of breath and in an abundance of caution he went in for observation.” Continue reading
