Fats Domino, the inventor of rock and roll with his classic hits, “Blueberry Hill” and “Ain’t That a Shame,” has died, confirmed the Jefferson Parish Coroner’s office in Louisiana. He was 89.

Born “Antoine Domino, Jr.,” the legendary musician hit the music scene in the late 1940’s and went on to produce nearly 50 albums that spanned five decades, including more than 25 gold singles and selling more than 65 million records worldwide.
