CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — The body of Jabed Ikbal, of Clementon, New Jersey, who went missing last week Cape May County, has been recovered on Saturday morning.
Ikbal, 24, went missing after entering the water in an Ocean City inlet in an effort to rescue other swimmers last Sunday.
According to reports, the evening of July 12, Ikbal was swimming with others at an unprotected beach near the Ocean City-Longport Bridge, when he attempted to save other swimmers who were in apparent distress. He failed to resurface.
A fisherman saw the body around 6 a.m. in Great Egg Harbor Inlet between Ocean City and Longport, according to a statement from an Ocean City spokesman.
Ikbal, who was originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the death remains under investigation.

SABINE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Dennis Williams has been identified as the apparent drowning victim Tuesday night in Sabine County.
Williams, 39, died while visiting Toledo Bend Lake in Many Tuesday night.
According to reports, Williams was swimming at Toledo Bend Lake Tuesday night, when he was found face down in the water.
The body of Williams was recovered near the Turtle Beach boat launch.
The cause of the death remains under investigation.

DAVENPORT, IA. (THECOUNT) — – Mark Anderson of Eldridge, Iowa, and Kenneth Anderson, of Bellevue, Iowa, have been identified as the victims found at the bottom at a pool at the Davenport home of businessman, John Wisor Monday night.
Mark Anderson, 60 and 57-year-old Kenneth Anderson, where were both teachers in the Bellevue school district, according to reports.
The men are not related.
Earlier this Tuesday afternoon, officials determined the men died of an “accidental drowning.”
The pair were discovered at the home of John Wisor, owner of 11th Street Precinct Bar & Grill in Davenport.
The superintendent of the Bellevue school district said they will be holding listening and counseling sessions tomorrow morning at the middle school and high school. At the moment there is no further information available regarding this incident, reports OurQuadCities.

BRANDON, FL. (THECOUNT) — Little Jeremiah Rios was killed on March 12 after his father, Guillermo Junior Montoya Rios, 29, accidentally ran over him in the parking lot of a Brandon, Florida Waffle House. And now the same family has suffered another devastating loss after their 1-year-old drowned in a family swimming pool.
The family of six children, aged 1-11, were at their grandparents home in Hillsborough County over the recent holiday when the tragic drowning occurred.
On the afternoon of the tragic incident, the two oldest children were playing at the swimming pool while the younger ones were playing with a water hose near the house, reported the Tampa Bay Times. At about 7 p.m., everyone except the youngest child came inside the house to change into dry clothes.
Shortly after, the mother found him unresponsive in the pool. The family gave him CPR before the paramedics arrived but he was pronounced dead at the hospital, reports TheEpochTimes.
In mid-March, 3-year-old Jeremiah was accidentally run over and killed by his father with the family SUV at a Waffle House parking lot in Brandon.
The accident inflicted severe head injuries on the child and he was pronounced dead shortly after at the Brandon Regional Hospital, according to reports.

PASS CHRISTIAN, MS. (THECOUNT) — Jerry Michael Henderson of Pass Christian, Mississippi, has been identified as the body discovered floating in the Pass Christian Harbor Friday.
Henderson, 62, was reported as a missing person earlier in the week.
Deputy Chief Darren Freeman with the Pass Christian Police Department said the body was discovered around 2:30 p.m. Friday.
The Department of Marine Resources was dispatched to recover the body, reports WLOX.
Henderson was last seen in the vicinity of Shaggy’s Pass Harbor on January 28.
His death was ruled as an accidental drowning.

BOZEMAN, MT. (THECOUNT) — Dane M. Offutt, of Livingston, MT, has been identified as the body pulled from a river in Yellowstone National Park Wednesday.
Offutt, 29, was identified as the body found downstream from a vehicle located in the Gallatin River after it was reported missing on U.S. Highway 191 near mile marker 29 in Yellowstone National Park on the morning of Saturday, October 6.
Park officials said Friday they later found Offutt.

FRYEBURG, ME. (THECOUNT) — Maine officials have identified the body found Sunday on the shore of the Saco River in Fryeburg, as Dylan Szabad of Nashua, New Hampshire.
Szabad, 27, was found dead along a Saco River beach Sunday, according to police. Officials are not releasing any more information on the victim or the circumstances and cause of death at this time.
On Sunday a New Hampshire man’s body was found on the beach along mile 14 of the Saco River.
According to the Fryeburg Police Department, the officers deployed an airboat after a 9-1-1 call was made near mile 14 of the Saco River for a medical emergency involving a canoer.
When first responders arrived on scene they located body of the 28-year-old New Hampshire man.
Szabad was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Maine Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
Anyone with information on the death is urged to contact police at 911.
LA GRANGE, NC. (THECOUNT) — La Grange woman, Wanda Best, has been identified as the home drowning victim Friday night.
Best, 65, was spending a night at home with her husband, Donald, when he left the residence for a short period of time to pick up food. Upon his return, he says, he found his wile face down in the backyard pool of their La Grange home.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and EMS responded to a drowning at a home in La Grange Friday night.
Just before 10 p.m.officers arrived at 1961 East New Hope Road and found the woman unresponsive, lying on the deck of the pool and began CPR, deputies said. Their efforts were unsuccessful. The woman, identified as 65-year-old Wanda Best, was pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner is reporting that a man was found drowned in the Los Angeles backyard pool at the home of actress Demi Moore.
The man, who was 21, was found dead at 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
