Legendary athlete and sportscaster, Frank Gifford‘s brain has been donated to a study that focuses on CTE, a brain disorder thought to be as a result of multiple concussions.
Kathy Lee Gifford says her late Hall of Fame husband suffered from a traumatic brain injury most likely caused during his NFL career. Gifford died in August at the age of 84.
Gifford family says he was diagnosed with CTE (a progressive degenerative brain disease) before he passed. Continue reading
