Police say they have located the body of missing Campbell County woman Amanda Carlson.
Carlson, 49,was last seen during the early evening hours March 19 by Region Ten Community Services Board staff exiting their facility at 500 Old Lynchburg Road, Charlottesville, Albemarle County, VA.
There are no signs of foul play, according to the Albemarle County Police Department.

Justin Ross Harris has been found guilty on all counts in the death on his young son who he left in a hot car.
Harris, the father of a toddler who died after police say he was left in a hot car for about seven hours. A grand jury indicted Harris on multiple charges, including malice murder, felony murder and cruelty to children. The malice murder charge indicates that prosecutors believe that Harris intentionally left his son Cooper in the hot car to die.
Ross faces life in prison plus 40 years behind bars.
Fairfax, Va., police need your help locating Nicole (Clardy) Mittendorff, a missing 31-year-old woman from Woodbridge.
Mittendorff, 31, was reported missing on Friday and police say her car was found abandoned In a Shenandoah National Park parking lot. She has not contacted her family since Wednesday.
Mittendorff’s 2009 Mini Cooper was found in a parking lot in Shenandoah National Park. She is described by police as a 5’6 white female, weighing 125 lbs. Continue reading
Vine superstar, Bryan Silva, was arrested after making threats, posting messages on social media and holding Virginia police at bay for hours.
Silva, 25, was visited by Charlottesville police after they received a call for a disturbance. He is known for his huge social media following, but now he is destined to be infamous for something completely different.

A grand jury has indicted Jesse Matthew with the October 17, 2009 disappearance and death of Morgan Harrington.
Matthew is facing with first-degree murder and abduction with intent to defile. The maximum penalty for each offense is life in prison.

Searchers found human remains on Saturday believed to be those of Hannah Graham, a missing University of Virginia sophomore.
Human remains were found on an abandoned property and the parents of Hannah have been contacted..
“Today’s discovery is a significant development and we have a great deal of work ahead of us,” Sellers said. “We cannot and we will not jump to any conclusions regarding today’s discovery, so I ask for the public’s patience as we move forward and pursue what is now a new ongoing death investigation.” h/t wavy
The Medical Examiner’s Office in Richmond will conduct an autopsy to determine the identity of the body and the cause of death, Albemarle County Police Chief Steven Sellers said at the press conference
