DAVIDSON COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — A North Carolina mother was live streaming on Facebook the moment she learned her son had died in a Monday night drive-by double-fatal shooting in Davidson County.

Quint Rodgers, of Thomasville, was on Facebook live following a drive-by shooting that involved her son, 24-year-old Mykiah Anderson, when she was informed that he had died Monday night.

According to reports, two people were shot and killed and another injured after a shooting in Thomasville on Monday night around 8:15 p.m. Torrian Williams, 23, of High Point, was identified as the other fatality.

Jaylin McLendon, 19, of High Point, identified as the shooting third victim, was transported to an area hospital via a private vehicle.

Two people have been charged in connection with the shooting.

Detectives charged Severen Trique Singleton, 21 of High Point, and Jacoreyian Dreshawn McLendon, 25, of High Point, with possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help with Anderson’s funeral expenses.
