MEIGS COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Byron Blaine Bolin has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday night crash in Meigs County.
Bolin, 46, was killed in a vehicle crash on State Route 143 near Albany Wednesday night.

According to police, Bolin was operating a Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck on State Route 143, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree before coming to a rest around 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
Bolin was wearing his safety belt at the time of the crash, according to MyDailySentinel.
It is unclear if the victim died at the scene or if he was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
The crash remains under investigation by the post.
