KANSAS CITY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Justin Hicks, of Polo, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Ray County two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.

Hicks, 25, was killed in a vehicle crash on MO-210 in Ray County Wednesday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to reports, Hicks was operating a Chevy Astro on MO-210 near Pendleton Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then made contact with a GMC W4500.

Hicks was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the GMC suffered unknown injuries and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.

The crash report did not specify whether snowy conditions were a factor in the crash, reports KSHB.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
