COLUMBUS, GA. (THECOUNT) — Travane Brandon Jackson, the suspect in a horror quadruple homicide that claimed the life of his girlfriend, Columbus mother Jerrica Spellman, and her three children, has successfully committing suicide in the Muscogee County Jail.

Jackson was accused of killing Spellman and her three children, 3-year-old King, 1-year-old Kensley and 1-month-old Khristian. Muscogee County Sheriff Donna Tompkins has confirmed that Jackson was taken to the hospital at approximately 5:00 p.m. after committing suicide in the Muscogee County Jail.

Jackson was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional’s Emergency Room where he was pronounced dead, reports WTVM.

All the victims were stabbed to death near 20th Avenue and Cusseta Road.

CPD is working to officially confirm Jackson’s relationship to the three children killed, but he is believed to be their father, reports WTMV.

The children reportedly range in age from less than a year old to 3-years-old.

Police say they are not looking for any further suspects at this time.
