NIOTA, IL. (THECOUNT) — Popular Niota fish market, ‘Quality Fisheries,’ burned down early Tuesday morning, according to local reports.
The overnight fire completely destroyed the market located in Niota.

Around 12:30 Tuesday morning, a call came in that the Niota Fish Market was on fire, reports KHQA.
Crews worked for several hours getting the fire out, and left the scene around 5:00 in the morning.
Quality Fisheries was located at, 157 Arbor Street in Niota, Illinois.
The building appears to be a total loss, however, an employee of the fish market tells KHQA there is still fresh fish in a walk-in cooler that was not damaged by the fire.
